Meet The Team
Liz Shakti Wyld, E-RYT-500, RCYT
Creator/Director of Shakti Kids Yoga, Lead Teacher Trainer
Liz is a fun-loving, curious yogini, herbalist and teacher. She loves to meditate, travel the world, read and write, spend time in nature, create art, make jewelry, make herbal medicine and other wellness products. Most of all Liz loves embracing life and teaching all people big or little! When she found yoga more than 20 years ago, it was the home within that she had always been seeking. She began teaching children yoga in her Montessori classroom and instantly fell in love with helping people find connection to their breath, body, peaceful mind and spirit! Liz strives to empower her students to create their own practice and take away tools to use in everyday life. Also, Liz helps encourage students to intuitively flow into a meditative practice by connecting their movements with breath. Liz is the creator and director of Shakti Kids Yoga and teaches Children's Yoga Teacher Trainings, Workshops, Yoga for Special Events in Austin, Texas and Denver, Colorado and the surrounding areas.

Meet Faith, a kids yoga teacher from Nashville, TN. The practice of yoga and mindfulness has changed her life in a profound way. Faith has also seen first hand how mindfulness and emotional regulation tools can impact kids, families and schools when she was volunteering with a non-profit organization back in Tennessee. Her time as a volunteer inspired her to bring children's yoga & mindful movement to Colorado. She is passionate about stoking the fire of child-like joy & wonder, while also empowering kids with tools and resources for managing their emotions. In her classes, Faith offers an approachable introduction to yoga poses by including fun activities and silly games while also weaving in emotional regulation techniques for her students to carry with them, even after they leave the class.

Kelsey Dyas, RCYT
SKY Teacher
Hello! I am Kelsey Dyas, 34 years old, she/her, teacher, student, vegan and some would describe me as “crunchy.”
I knew around high school that I wanted to be a teacher. I went to college and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and fell in love with teaching toddlers to regulate themselves.
I have 10 years of classroom experience with ages 12 months to 5 years old. Also, 5 years of nannying experience with the ages of 8 months to 6 years old. I have completed many training sessions such as Reggio Emilia (Teaching theory), Conscious Discipline, Touchpoints, and Shakti Kids Yoga Training. I have taught skiing, biking and swimming for children as well.
Why yoga is one of my favorite hobbies is the mind-body connection and how much I have learned about my own body to support my healing. Teaching children the things I have learned in yoga is extremely important to me and something I feel very passionate about. What I think I love most about teaching yoga and the breath is that I enjoy helping people but I also love empowering them. Teaching yoga and the essential breath to children is going to give them a lifelong tool that they can use in many situations in life. They’ll be able to enjoy their life more.

Christine Ireland, RCYT
SKY Teacher
Hello, I am Christine! I am a firm believer that yoga is for everybody. I especially believe in the importance of sharing yoga with children, senior citizens and those of limited mobility. I truly believe yoga can transform lives and communities for the better, and that is what led
me to take the 95 HR training with Shakti Kids Yoga. With over 18 years of experience, personal health limitations and two young children of my own, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to further my knowledge and practice. Through this program I have seen first
hand what simply introducing ideas of mindfulness and breathing can do for a child's overall somatic wellness, and how underutilized these highly beneficial techniques really are. My hope is to spread the beauty of movement and breath, and connection of mind and body,
with precious little souls so they can thrive as they grow.
